We offer two approaches to assist you in building “living walls”:
- GRS Moisture Retention Mat , for use in building the Patrick LeBlanc-style walls; and,
- Wall-Y from our partners Geoproducts Corp., to help you create “vertical green walls” of climbing plants.
Moisture Mat:
GRS has developed 100% recycled moisture retention material that has been adopted by the community of living wall architects. The work of Patrick LeBlanc has inspired others across the United States to create living walls–and they are using our MRM 14 and MRM 30 products to make it happen. You can purchase a minimum of 60 sq ft, a 6′ x 10′ sheet cut from a master roll. Sixty square feet for:
- MRM 14 is $60 plus shipping.
- MRM 30 is $90 plus shipping.
Full rolls are 900 sq ft for the MRM14 and 450 sq ft for the MRM30. Please call for full roll pricing.
Shipping for individual rolls vary, depending where the product is delivered.
Notice: residential delivery can be very expensive as the rolls of product are large. It is best to arrange for commercial delivery to a location with a loading dock if you purchase a full roll.
Wall-Y System
Wall-Y
Our partner, Geoproducts Corp., has developed a high resistance grid panel for creating green walls.
The special texture created by the irregular shaped cells provides decoration to the wall, even before the vegetation has fully developed. The lightweight grid is modular and easy-to-install. Made of robust and reliable plastic that is moisture- and microorganism-resistant.
A wall covered with Wall-Y can provide a better thermal performance to the building and protect it against the corrosive effects of urban pollution.
