PROTECTION / MOISTURE RETENTION FABRIC

Used as a base protection layer beneath aggregate type drainage core, the fabric is a non woven 65% polypropylene/ 35% polyester blend made with post consumer plastics. It has water retention properties that assist the plant palette during low water periods. Allow for overlap of 6 inches per row when calculating required coverage of protection fabric.

We offer two types:
GRS MRM14 -14 oz per square yard is a 65% recycled product, 3/16" thick. GRS MRM14 will retain 1 lb of water per square foot fully saturated.

GRS MRM30 - 30 oz per square yard is 100% recycled post consumer polypropylene/ polyester blend. MRM30 will retain 1.9 lbs of water per square foot, fully saturated. We offer this fabric for Western and southwestern green roof locations, or areas with extreme overhang that result in lower direct rainfall to the system.
