Wind Erosion Blanket – WEBC720
We blend coconut coir with jute and weave an open knit fabric to cover newly installed green roof media. This blanket is then anchored into the media with our unique Anchor system. The covering allows the green roof installer to plant sedum plugs through the fabric and allows the plants time to establish safely, without forces of wind and rain uprooting new plantings.
Each roll covers 720 sq ft in widths of 6 ft. Please read installation instructions for Anchors.
Wind Erosion Blanket Anchor System
We manufacture a polyethylene and cornstarch-based (biodegradable) anchor base that uses steel discs that slide down the post and hold our wind blanket in place. The base is buried deep beneath the media layer against the drainage layer.
